FireSky Property Management, a leading property management company operating across four states, is seeking a detail-oriented, dedicated, and experienced Home Inspector to join our dynamic team. We manage a diverse portfolio of properties, and the Home Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring our properties continue to meet the highest standards of safety, habitability, and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties for existing and potential problems, focusing on structural integrity, safety features, potential pests, HVAC systems, and overall quality.
- Generate clear, detailed reports on each inspection, noting any damage or potential concerns and providing recommendations for necessary repairs or improvements.
- Collaborate with property managers and maintenance teams to prioritize repairs and improvements.
- Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure repair work has been completed correctly.
- Stay up-to-date with local regulations and safety standards to ensure all properties are in compliance.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Home Inspector or in a related field.
- Licensed as a Home Inspector in one or more of our operating states (Oregon, California, Arizona, Washington) is required.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in creating and presenting detailed reports.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle issues that could lead to future problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
